I decided to then change the colour of the background as it gave the poster a more sinister look and added the extra element of ambiguity amongst the killer. Also I decided to change the way that the name of the film was shown. I used the warp tool on Photoshop to make it seem like the name was either coming from the eye or going into it. It was effective in bringing the poster to life but looked unusual in the poster.
